i went wiff the mommish and daddish fishing this weekend while brinksey winksey was wiff our pibble kissy cousins and guero and coco chanel were visiting great granny. our dear tiger had shtayed wiff the bella to keep her companies and we left to the beach. now thish side of the beach ish called texas city beach and i mush shay that our daddish did not catch any fish . teehee
now to the horrors that occured . . . .now thish shtory ish quite frightening and if you scare easily please dont wead on . . . what i have here ish photographic evidence of nightmarish horrors occuring in thish small beach village. so if your braver than bravest then follow me along this long and winding path. . . . .
sho ash we made our way to wear daddish was going to fish . . . . oh my dog!! what ish that mommish????? i see most scawy things ahead . . . my most inner pibble training immediately made me run to investigate further. . . . . our brinksey has prepared ush for most every danger to have occur.

we walked alittle more to investigate the crime scene and came across more tewifying carcasses . . whatever ish doing thish is massive and fishy and probably stinky winky
my dear woggie furryends . what you have sheen here ish undeniable and indisputable evidensshe that their ish a monshter full of evilness living in our texas city water and everyfurry must be most careful when we go there.their ish SOMETHING leaving these carcasses on the beaches and that SOMETHING has quite the hungries.

mommish felt my shivery fear and pick me right up and did'nt put me down lest the sea monshter found me most scrumptious

now that would explain why our daddish did'nt catch any fishy's

the monshter is probably feasting on all the water fishie's and what not

howdy all doggies and kitties

the brinksey winksey pudding and pie here wiff a most exciteable event to tell......

so we begins wiff the middle of the night okay.....now as many of you may know our mommish does not like this time of the day as she gets the shivery fears wiff the panics.....we try out berry best to soothe her but sometimes its not enough .....goog fing that you guys are out here cause only your most funnish and loveable stories be helping chase away the panic monster......

anywoo, so last night mommish was trying to go nite nite tooty sleep.....after about 30 minutes as she was going to doze off she heard the wee two legger Jr (or as we call me pookie bear) start to move.....he was giggling a bit and squirming but had the biggest smile ever to be!!!!! so my mommish continued to watch as she was enjoying his giggles then all of a sudden he wakes up and start laughing......mommish does not move just watches.......he is staring up at the ceiling and giggling some more.....now he is pawing at the ceiling and moving his head back and forth to the left and giggle.....to the right and giggle.....he was staring at something moving and making him laugh....sometimes he would close his eyes and kind of tuck his neck in as if someone was snuzzling him or tickling behing his ears.....this continued for a good long five minutes....mommish just stared not wanting to move and disrupt the amazing thing that was happening.....mommish especially loves him grabbing and pawing at something in the air with the look of pure joy an happiness as if he could see something most wonderful.....after a while he turned to the side and continued to giggle softly and then he closed his eyes and fell asleep.....now you must know the wee two legger DOES NOT fall asleep on his own EVER....he always has mommish rock him back to sleep in the middle of the night but mommish felt and inmmense sense of calm that she can not describe take over her and for the first time in a long time she fell asleep hugging the two legger and did'nt wake up until morning time with NO PANIC ATTACK.
mommish knows in her heart that what she witnessed was amazing and unbeleiveable as she knows in her heart that the fearless five came to visit us.....she now fully beleives they are okay and will always be with us to love on us, and protect us as they did that terrible night.....so as we all go tooty nite nite tonight we will say goodnite to the fearless five and let them watch over us as we sleep ....our preciuos fearless angels of protection..... we love you .... we feel you.....we hold you close through our pain......

howdy everyone,

the pibble mommish here with some pictures to share with ya'll. as you may remember this is patty cakes's, another of Shelby's pups who lives with spirit and two other rescues at my mother in laws. i get to see the beautiful face everyday and it chases away the depression clouds right away. especially those pibble sugars.
things are still not progressing with the house they need more and more paperwork from the contractor and every single person who is going to work on the house. we are not able to even start the demolition process until each electrician and plumber and what not has been contacted and has signed certain documents. so ....it has taken some time as we have to research and find out who is best for each job....
i have been getting claustrophobic lately .....it could be just another anxiety symptom to pile on my panic attacks. it could be my job. i work inside a vault(which is underground by the way ) for a bank. or it sleeping in the tiny garage with no windows.....who knows it could just all be the stress of it all. just trying to deal with everything as best as i can and continue to remember that god did not bring "it" to us..it was god who send the fearless five on a mission that night to save the rest of us from that burning inferno. so in their name i try to be brave every night i get anxious or panicky. i spoke with frankie furters mom the other night....it was much needed and im so thankful she took the time to call me. only your own blogville family can listen and UNDERSTAND what it is to lose your furbabies...we came to the realization that i may be using your blogs as my crutch for my panic attacks...i explained how very much helpful it is to read the blogs when i feel the panic attacks coming. now i know that if i get online that i can control myself a little better. .....if anyone is going to help me get through this is going to be you guys so please continue with your wonderful and funny , happy making posts and know that someone out there is feeling a little better and a little less anxious because of your posts.

mr chico is at it again

howdy every woggie and meow meow's
so .. . .let ush tell you about our little "situation" that happened last week
now we know our angel brofer chico had a hand in thish but let ush tell you from the beginning
so . . . . last week sometime we had a weally bad cold front come in
now you guys must understand that the weather here in houston is completely unpredictable around these months
we can be welaxing at the beach in the morning and by sundown it could be in the 30's
so . . . . one night last week as we were deep in our pibble dreams of fields of liver tweats and trees that grow stuffies we kept hearing a whimpering coming from outside our window
now we got up and sniffed around our room and the living room but eventually went back to snuggle with our mommish . well a wittle while later we heard it again.and it sounded weally shad and kinda like whatever it was was scared or in pain or SOMETHING
so mommish got up cause she knew then that she was not imagening thish and she gets her jammy coat on a flashlite and takes the brinkster with her to investigate outside
now mind you thish ish like 3 in the morning and it is freezing doggy bones outside. so here we go to investigate thish wimpering
we come outshide and hear nothing.we start looking around and find nothing
just as we were going to head back inshide we hear it again. its coming from the side of the house where the trash bin ish . so we takes a sniff around and look what we shee
thish little furball was curled up in a wittle ball shivering and shaking trying to hide from the freezing wind between the trash bin and out wall. mommish of course picked him up and took him inside and started to check him out. he was vewy malnourished , you could definately feels his wittle ribs and had several wounds as if he'd had some encounters wiff some woggies in the neighborhood and he had wittle puppy teeth. mommish gave him some food of course and he gobbled it righ up. he had no tags , no collar, no nothing to give ush a clue as to where he came from.so we decided to gives him a nice place to stay during the nitey nite
ash you can see lucky was happy to share her wittle cave wiff him and even was kind enuff to share her favorite toy. she knows whats its like to be hungry , cold and lonely out there on the streets and so she took it upon hersellf to gives him a tour of the pibble kingsdom

so of course we took him to the vet. he was not microshipped , we asked around the neighborhood and no one wanted to claim him or claimed they had seen him or who he belonged too. now as you know we already have 4 pibbles and a lucky chiwi/weeny so its a more than full house. mommish said she sat there and wondered what exactly mr chico was up to. she can just bet her collection of heels on the fact that our angel brofur let this wittle one to our house and told him if he wimpered loud enough he would survive that cold and windy nite.
our pawrents are just softies when it comes to animals.he knew that once found they would'nt turn him away. but what can you do when you have 5 dogs already???

what mommish says shes' going to have to do ish work a couple of more hours of overtime to pay for more woggie food and extra stuffies and extra boy clothes.
thats what shes going to do
she says that as long as god gives her the strenght to work to provide for homeless woggies then she will do what she has to do.
we decided to name him tiger . cause he looks like a tiger stuffie we had for a long time before
her queen almighty coco chanel decapitated it when she was having one of her "diva moments" i mean really , could you have turned thish face away on a cold and windy night???????????

shelby's SPIRIT lives on

shelby: blogvilles personal angel saved by blogville, forever to protect us from above....

hello everyone,

pibble mommish here. this is a very much bittersweet post. as many of you know i am currently living in my mother in laws garage. my mother in law is the one who took in shelby's miracle babies pattycakes and spirit. i use to look at spirit and always imagen that i exactly what shelby would have looked like without all her scars. the scars that came to tell the horrible things she had endured for years. those scars made her to me even more beautiful. they spoke volumes when she licked you gently or snuggled with you at night. they told you that although this beautiful creature had gone through hell and pain that she loved humans so much that she gave us one more chance and we had not failed her. through blogville all of us together we were able to give hope to one hopeless pibble who had given up and wanted to just die without any more pain. instead everyone joined paws and together we showed her what love was. what love is soppose to be for all furry creatures. shelby changed so many of our lives with just her forgiveness alone. her will to keep fighting despite being used in the worst possible way. used for greed and evil. i will never forget the day we took her to the vet and found out that not only had she been used as bait, burned and impregnated countless of times. but her teeth had been pulled out and she had been shot. all this while carrying precious bundles of babies inside. yet she continued to push forward. she is the reason i now continue to push forward. maybe that is the lesson she was soppose to come and teach me in her short life that she had with me. ..... im still trying to understand what i can learn from this horrible tragedy. if she was able to continue to live and live with joy for every minute then i have to continue somehow ... someway .... for shelby .... for what she stood for.....
who would have known when khyra picked the name spirit that it would be so prophetic. shelby's SPIRIT truly lives on in this precious pup. identical to shelby.
when i look at these pictures of the two of them and realize that spirit would not be alive if it was'nt for you guys, for destiny taking me to that parking lot that day and most of all for shelby's strong and courageous and forgiving SPIRIT.

3 smiles for mommish

howdy everyone,

momma pittie here with another update...days have been going okay. their is bad days and good days. i try to be positive and try not to relive the memories as much as i use to. unfortunately my body is not cooperating with me as i have started to wake up with panic attacks the last 2 days. its pretty terrifying and i thought i was having a heart attack the first time i woke up sweating buckets and heart beating 100 miles a minute but after a while it calmed down. i think maybe because i was so scared to have another one that i provoked it last night with all my nervousness....

this is a process im working on and until i can fully grieve and go through that process maybe the panic attacks will subside. in the meantime let me share with you that the one thing that has calmed me down both times was to get online and read blogs....im sorry i don't comment alot but please know that i do read your wonderful and funny posts and they help me through the hard sleepless nights. today i had a not so very good day but have decided to turn it into a good thing. i came home and realized it had been two weeks since i bought dog food and knew for certain that we were on the last part of the bag until i came home and realized that since i now have only my two pibbles that the one bag will last me a lot longer than before...... i immediately cried as this realization hit me.....i got online and started reading your blogs and let me share some of the things that made me smile....

now these two are two of our most favorite pibbles ever to be!!! miss M and mr B along with their parents A and E of two pitties in the city have been one of our most favorite blogs for a VERY long time. we have followed them as long as i can remember them and admire them so much for all they do to show everyone they possibly can how wonderful pibbles are. both pooches are the very best of ambassadors and gorgeous to boot. today we saw this MOST pawsome article featuring this most wonderful blog in the chicago tribune!!!!! please click on the link above and read the great positive press that the pibbles received. we are beyond proud and beaming with happiness for them. please click on their name above to read their wonderful blog full of gorgeous photography and tour of their city. the handsome mr B even joins in on the photography with his own doggie camera. you definitely don't want to miss that.
now to something that had me worried to bits the last couple of days.......our sweet friends at http://cocos2cute.blogspot.com/ have been having a terrible scared with their beautiful princess lady godiva who has been having seizures and not feeling well. ever since i read about her health scare i have had a candle lit and prayed very hard so that my pibble angels surround lady godiva with healing pibble sugars as she is fighting her battle. today i logged on and read that she was feeling much the betterments and you have no idea what a sigh of relief that was....those news alone should help me sleep a little better tonight and hopefully i wont have any of the yucky panic attacks....please keep lady godiva in your prayers and send her healing sugars to keep the evil seizures away...

hello my fellow angel's. i want to take a moment and thank each and everyone of you who is still following along my journey as well as all those kind souls who have so generously donated money and kind words to our little pack...every cent and words mean the world to us...thank you....below is my dedication to my queen...coco chanel
when you look at the picture above i pray and hope with all my heart that this is how coco chanel and my guero are now on the rainbow bridge.....together.....coco chanel was my second rescue.....as soon as they met they were inseperable....destined to be best friends forever and one could never be without the other.......it was just unthinkable to be apart. i often wondered and dreaded how sad it was going to be when one or the other passed first. i imagened it would be so deppresing for one to have to live without the other..they had a special bond guero and coco ...a bond only two such loyal (as only dogs can be) beings can have to each other.....
this is how their bond was above ...guero always giving her kisses to take away the grumpyness and her finally accepting them with that huge gorgeous smile on her face......
coco chanel "THE QUEEN OF ALL THE FURRY UNIVERSE" as she became to be known for really took to her name. you see the reason i started calling her the queen was because she reminded me so much of the queen of hearts ... "off with their heads" is a perfect phrase to describe coco chanel's personality BOL. i have lost count of the number of victims i found not only scattered in the yard ( lizards,birds,tree rats, frogs) but also on top of my bed (rats). all with one distinct characteristic.......ALL WERE MISSING THEIR HEAD....yes sir.... you heard me right....they were all headless and only their body was always found. she would proudly display her work for me by waiting patiently by the foot of the bed next to the body of the headless rat that she so tirelessly hunted to save our household from thei evilness...tail wagging with her huge smile i could not help but to smile and hug her everytime (although i would stay away from her kisses for a while lol ). so thats why she earned her name the queen....OFF WITH THEIR HEADS I SAY !!!!!
below is the comical origin story of coco chanel which i blogged about in only about my second post. their were no comments left back then i just enjoyed being able to chronicle all the fun i had living with my furbabies.....please enjoy the queens take on her rescue.......

once upon a time long ago i was living in a bad place filled with ant bites and nightmares. those mongrels did not recognize the blue blood in me and had me living in filth. one day my soon to be mommy came and saw me and rescued me.
obviously she saw the royalty she had in her hands.smart woman that mother of mine ! needless to say i have taken my rightful place as queen and ever since have ruled my kingdom. oh and i have to share it with guero who thinks he is king, and a bratty young ling called brinks who my mom calls her fat little prince.she got the fat part right. he cant be considered a prince in my book because he has absolutely no etiquette. he eats on his stomach for pittie's sake!

anyways so . . . the reason for my writing other than mommy wanting me to properly introduce myself was too state my unhappiness about a certain situation that arose about a year ago.

my mother came home with a PEASANT whom she calls Bella.now I'm all up for mommy helping out the needy people with food and water but she brought her home to LIVE!!!!! i can smell her perfume when we take turns sleeping between my Mommy's room and grammys.
my mommy says that I'm still the queen of the house and gives me lots of treats and kisses but i must say i am not very convinced about this whole situation.
I'm old and grumpy so I'm not allowed to play with her which suits me just fine.
as long as she doesn't start thinking she's princess or anything I'll let her share mommy for now.

hello everyone

momma pibble here with another post... still trying to use blogging as my source of therapy .....i have returned back to work and that seems to help ease the pain if only for a while....i've had good days and bad....somedays it seems bearable and some days like today im a mess....

today i thought all day about my heart........my guero.........below you can see a picture that truly captures my bond with him.......i would wake up in the morning and this is what i would see.....
the most beautiful face on earth staring back at me with those gentle loving eyes....i stared into those eyes every morning for almost 8 years and waking up and not seeing them is heart wrenching.....my heart is unwilling to understand that i can no longer wake up to this ......my mind refuses to comprehend........today in particular as i was passing the firework stand on my way home i cried and cried thinking of my guero......you see he was fiercely scared of fireworks and would come cuddle under the blankets with me at those times and i would softly talk to him and rub him and comfort him as the night went on......we did this all his time with me....he was my baby......today just thinking that new years is coming up ....he is going to be outside under our tree....in the midst of all the noise and fireworks and i wont be able to comfort him like i always did.......im typing through tears just thinking of that thought.......below for those who dont know his story i have copied and pasted my previous post about my guero......the beginning of my love for this angel of mine......if you have the time please read on .......

hello there every doggie
momma pittie here for the first time i am allowed to post a bloggy of my very own. the most gracious and beautiful queen of all that is furry coco chanel has given me her blessing to make my special post about mr guero's beginnings.thank you, your majesty i will try to do you proud.

ok well where do i begin , , , , i felt that today would be proper to tell the story of guero since yesterday was his 7th birthday and it made me very sad knowing that he is considered a senior now.actually when one of my co workers mentioned that to me i got tears in my eyes just thinking that he is getting old.you see all my fur kids are special tome as you all know but guero . . . . guero is my heart. guero is what started it all for me. guero is the reason i so passionately advocate pibbles.before guero i never had a dog. all my life i grew up with cats. my mother adores cats and we all still do.but guero came into my life and completely changed it in a way that i will never forget.

if you guys will bear with me i shall start at the beginning.

i remember one sunday evening we were on our way to walmart and it was extremely hot as summer evenings tend to be here in houston tx. the type of heat that is humid and blistering if you stand out there too long.well . . . we saw a young couple such as me and my husband were and she shyly came up to me and asked if i would consider taking in a pet. of course we weren't interested . we had just moved into our first house we were renting and had no idea if pets were allowed and hadn't even considered it. i asked what type of pet and she said a 4 month old pitbull. she was almost crying and i asked why she was getting rid of it and she all but broke down right then and there. she said that she had lived in a house not too far away from where walmart is and that her neighbors had bought a pitbull he was just about 7 weeks old when she first saw him and they tied him up outside to a tree and she could hear him crying his little lungs out all day and night. she could also hear them hit him and beat him to be quiet. it was breaking her heart to see this beautiful puppy get so mistreated.well about a week later she overheard through her fence the man talking about the dog and how he'll eventually learn to be quiet with the beatings or else he'd stop feeding him until he learn to shut up. this girl said that she was moving out with her boyfriend that weekend and she could not stop thinking about that puppy. that saturday night as they were packing the truck for the last trip she saw that the puppy was chewing on the leash he was tied to.well her and her boyfriend sat there and waited and within 20 minutes the puppy was loose. they immediately called him over and put him in the truck and left. well needless to say she fell in love with the puppy but she had to find him a home because she was going to college after the summer and couldn't care for him.so . . . me being the sucker for stories that i am agreed to take a look at this puppy i heard so much about. we walked over to her van and she picked up this red little bundle. she handed him to me and i picked him up and looked at his face and then my world just faded away in his eyes. he had the most gorgeous Japanese eyes i had ever seen and he kept giving me his puppy eyes that i just knew were asking me to love him. he gave me a cautious lick on the nose and it was over! i don't think i had ever been that impulsive before. i had never imagined i would love something so fiercely so quick. just thinking that someone had beat this bundle of love made me angry. all these emotions going through me all at once. i asked the girl how much she wanted for him and she said nothing. she just wanted him to go to a good home and if she could please have my address or email . i gave her my address that i had on my id card and my email and cell phone number just in case she wanted to come ck on him. we didn't even make it to walmart. we went straight to petsmart and enrolled him in the vet , got him some toys and all the puppy stuff that comes with getting a pupper. when i took in guero i never even thought about him being a pitbull. i just loved him unconditionally because he was so loving. but i quickly realized that having a pitbull was not like having a regular dog. i remember the second time i took him to petsmart this time on his leash and now 5 pounds heavier. i was so excited to have my puppy with me and he was so loving and just loved on everybody. i started to notice how people would go out of their way to get away from us . we would get nasty looks and they would pick their dogs up if we passed by their isle. guero of course didn't notice any of this he was jolly and happy to be sniffing all the treats and food petsmart has to offer. same thing at the parks . mothers would grab their child and walk the other way, joggers would run on the grass instead of the pavement to get as far away from guero. i realized that people hated my guero just because of how he looked. i would go home crying so many times at the beginning because i didn't understand. why would anyone hate my guero? he was the most precious thing in my life and so loving all he wanted was to give kisses to all humans and dogs alike. until then i was naive about dogs. i started to research about my guero's breed. look up organizations that rescued these breeds and realized all the horrible things they had endured and still endure. i cried many days reading all the cities and states that ban them just because of how they look. i decided that with guero i would make it a point to start changing peoples minds slowly but surely. even if its one person a week , a month , a year . one person can tell one more person and so on. and so my quest began. i started with family and friends. everywhere i went guero went. family reunions . weekend visits.barbq's .i am proud to say that 5 families of mine now have at least two rescue pitbulls living inside their home and they are spoiled rotten. and they tell their friends and i hope the cycle goes on. out of my 3 best friends 2 of them have pibbles as well sleeping in their bed.
my mother in law who was terrified of dogs in general has a pibble who she loves so much he gets homemade meals everyday especially made for him..we still get friends bringing over their friends to see the infamous guero. everyone loves the way he looks and even more the way he acts. he is so loving and everyone you talk to in my circle of friends and family can tell you a story about guero . . i don't want to think about ever having him NOT in my life. just the thought makes my eyes leak as my fur kids say. i know that realistically one day im going to have to live without him that is why when i see our dear bloggin friends going through having to say good bye to their beloved fur kids it breaks my heart and i pray very hard for them because i know how much it would devastate me to have to say good bye to my fur kids. until that time comes i will cherish every moment i have with them. my guero changed me into who i am today. i was never outspoken about issues until i had to defend him. i never had a passion for anything in particular until i had to defend him. and i never knew how one sweet pibble kiss could melt a humans heart until he kissed me that one fateful sunday at walmart.

We KNEW that IT was coming. We could Feel IT in the very air. We KNEW we would Not be able to Stop IT, but we Had to Protect our beloved two leggers. We, the Houston Pittie Pack and Wee Ones, Had to make Plans.

From the first moment that we Sensed IT was coming, we were very aware that some of us would need to STAY BEHIND to continue to Love and Protect and Care for our Mommish, Daddish, Grammish , and our Baby Two Legger. That would be a most important assignment. None of us felt worthy. Each believed another possessed the qualities needed to take on the task.

We also admit that we each wanted to take the Easy Path.. The one where we would chase IT completely away... Well beyond the Rainbow.. and then be able to REST on the other side of the Bridge.

Oh the SHAME we felt. WHY? WHY was IT coming to OUR Safe Home? WHY to Sandra's Sanctuary, as we love to call it. And WHY couldn't we Prevent IT's Evil Arrival?

We wanted, but could not find a way to make our people Aware of what was going to happen. WHY couldn't we make the DANGER KNOWN? WHY couldn't we Stop IT? Our saintly mommish had SAVED each and EVERY One of Us. WHY could we not save her from what was going to happen?

OH the GUILT. The Horrible GUILT we all felt. We Should have been able to do for HER what SHE had done fur US. Our Hearts were CRUSHED. We were miserable and felt Useless. OH, the GUILT.

It was Shelby who finally made it clear that we needed to face some difficult facts. We could NOT change the fact that there would be great sadness, but the most important thing of all was to ensure that EVERY ONE of our Humans WOULD SURVIVE and be watched over once we managed to drive IT away.

Shelby made us understand that WE had Mommish, and the other people in our home, to thank for saving US and for showing us such tenderness. It was OUR turn to give back to HER. We, Guero, Shelby, Coco Chanel, Tiger, Lucky, Brinks, and Bella, had known more devotion than any of us ever dreamed possible and it was due to the people who had taken us in and made our lives worth living. Our lives were so wonderful. Not to be measured in the Number of Days ... but by the QUALITY of those days.

There was never a question in our minds.. Mommish, Daddish, Grammish, and the precious baby two legger Must be protected and SAVED. We may not be able to PREVENT, but we Could SAVE, at any cost. SHE saved US we needed to SAVE HER and Her FAMILY.

Who will Go and Who will Stay? We could not decide. We could not VOTE. We resorted to the silly game BONE STUFFIE PAW Bone outweighs Stuffie Stuffie has no Paw and Paw Buries Bone. We had seen people play that with rocks and paper and scissors. Our friends will get a laugh out of that. They will remember how we always Love to have FUN together. Although we enjoyed our game we knew the results would be Serious and must be accepted with Strength and Conviction, just as OUR Mommish has always shown us to do. Yes, we DID enjoy our last game... until we are all together again.

The result of the game was that Brinks and Bella would be the ones entrusted to Remain Behind. They would Comfort and PROTECT in our absence. The rest of us would Drive IT away.

Bella immediately sensed that the little two legger needed to be very close to Mommish and Daddish...especially at NIGHT.. because we were sure that IT would choose the DARKEST TIME to do IT's DARKEST Deed. Bella worked for two days to make the humans AWARE that the two legger baby... was not feeling well and needed to be watched closely... They finally seemed to understand her looks and body language. Bella was finally able to convince the people to move the baby's bed into their bedroom. Bella proved her skill at watching over our little one with all her power.

Brinks would be our Strength.. Our Bone Solid Strength. He would be the one to show Mommish, that all of the days to come, are OUR legacy to HER.

The Plan was ready... we each had our jobs... and when IT came... we did NOT shirk. We Sounded the Alarm and with all our might we Barked and BARKED. IT tried to get to the two leggers but we drove IT back. We gave them the time they needed to get safely away.

Some of the people who were there that night, did not understand that we CHOSE to be where we were.. and to do what we had planned, in order to hold IT at BAY. They foolishly tried to break our concentration. That would have been a disaster. We did not allow it to happen. They didn't realize that WE had everything under control. They didn't KNOW about our PLAN. They did not know that we had been taught to let Nothing stand in the way of what needs to be done. We felt sad that they did not understand our mission. It nearly broke our hearts to hear our names being called and not being able to leave our stations. We stood fast, but hoped that Some Day everyone would understand and forgive us for steadfastly holding IT back.

We took up our positions and we did NOT waver. We began to Bark... Furious Barks.. NOT barks of fear. We Barked our most FIERCE Barks and we were Finally able to Confuse and Frighten IT, and to cause IT to retreat.
We Barked until IT was far enough away that we needed to transform ourselves so that we could continue to drive IT even farther and faster. The FIVE of us made the transition to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge where we could move with the speed and agility needed to pursue the evil thing and to chase IT to a place far beyond where IT could ever harm our dear ones ever again.

We Five are now together, resting with friends we had not seen for a very long time. Brinks and Bella will join us some day, when their jobs are finished. We will never know Why IT chose to attack our beautiful home, but the SHAME and GUILT, which we once felt, have been lifted from our backs. WE saved our people. We did NOT Fail them.
We, the Houston Pittie Pack and Wee Ones, will think often of the night we were able to show OUR devotion.

this christmas is extra hard for me....but i know my beautiful angels would wish for me to try to make it as happy as possible for our wee two legger and so i sit here determined to smile through my tears this sad holiday and enjoy as best as i can my human babies first christmas.... his smile alone can light up the world and i know him and bella and brinks will get me through this.... and so my whole family human and furry as well as our very special heavenly angels wish everyone of you a very merry christmas and we hope that you get extra hugs and kisses today in honor of our pack of angels who are watching over the whole blogville family today...thankfully these pictures came in today and were'nt lost in the fire.... blogvilles baby josh wants to send some christmas sloppy kisses to everyone as well ...

hello everyone and thank you for taking this journey with me.....i cant say its getting better...i still have bouts of crying especially around my mom....you see my mom is also taking this very hard....she was the one who would sleep with shelby most every night and feels horrible that she could'nt get shelby out. shelby was hiding under the bed in the very far corner of it....none of us could fit close enough to get to her and the smoke was overpowering...together and with your kind and loving words we will get through this together......now bella was always fond of our little two legger but ever since the fire happened she has taken on a whole other trait....she is super watchful and super vigilant over him....as soon as she hears him cry or wake up she alerts us and never lets him out of her sight......
i know she sensed that something could have gone worse with our two legger because you see...the fire that destroyed our home started in the baby's room...he's had really bad ear infections the last couple of weeks so he's been sleeping with us....in fact my husband had transferred his crib over from his room to ours TWO days before the fire......i try to look at all these things and see that it could have been much worse .......
for now my new nanny will help me care for OUR baby as she also tries to process what has happened to our pack...

Brinks n Bella update

Good sign today brinks n Bella seem to br getting their appetite back so long as I sit there with them as they eat....I also took them to our former house so they could run around the backyard n that perked them right up....Brinksey winksey rolled around in poop hoping I wouldn't put him back in the car n take him back to our garage but plan backfired on him n not only did we have to come back he is now also taking a bath.......but they seem to be feeling better. Can't say the same for me but seeing them happier makes me feel better.....

Thankful hugs to everyone listening to me still.....one day at a time is what I keep telling myself........

day two of my horror story does not get any better...i visited the grave of my beloved angels today and told them i was sorry...ugh just remembering everything makes me cry because i feel i should of been able to do more..somehow ....i replay over and over in my head how i should of just held my breath longer or run with my eyes closed through the smoke ...something that would of given me just a couple of more minutes to get to the other dogs....i told them that i tried over and over but the smoke was so thick the fire so strong....i remember how the smoke burned my nose,my throat,my chest...the terror i felt hearing them barking and not being able to pull them out i will never forget...everytime i hear a dog bark in my neighborhood i break down...i think everything is still too raw to live with...my bella is completely traumatized and her tail has stayed between her legs since the fire happened..brinks refuses to eat much other than what i've been able to convince him to.....i was able to find a scrapbooking box i had full of pictures of my angels that we were able to salvage....i will try to update my blog with the steps im taking as this is the only way i know how to process my feelings...i'll never forget how alone i felt that night when i was screaming for help for my doggies and all i could hear from my neighbors was that us humans were safe and that they were just dogs.... one the next day asked me what we did with the bodies ...when we told her that my husband buried them under our big tree in the backyard and i explained thats how i wanted it because i wanted them with me forever in my property where i can go and talk to them whenever i needed she was appalled. she asked if we were even allowed to do that....i guess she thinks im a weirdo now....then i see all your comments and they truly lift me up...they truly and absolutely help me get up in the morning after going through this....i woke up today hoping with all my heart that it was all a nightmare until i realized i was sleeping in my mother in laws garage she cleaned out for us to stay in temporarily.day two still brings bouts of bawling my eyes out and refusing to beleive my babies are gone...my husband says that i have to let them go... that they would'nt want me to be falling apart like this...but i am broken....

here at my mother in laws numb with pain....reading all your beautiful posts are helping me stay together psychologically , but the pain is breathtaking and unreal...i know god is not soppose to give you more than you can handle but wow!! i just dont know WHY??? my heart is not longer with me as my angels took it with them to the rainbow bridge....why me?? i try and try and try to help in any way i can as many as i can and then this happens .....why? they say it was electrical and that it spread so quickly because of how dry the roof was due to the hot summer here....please know that your prayers are keeping me together in this my darkest hours.....i have not slept or ate since 2am when my nightmare began....thank you all for your outpouring of kindness you have NO IDEA how thankful my family is ....will keep you guys posted,,,,,

howdy everyfurry, the brinksey winksey puddin and pie and bella the princess here wiff the pibble sugars for everybody and to ask you all to please tell our mommish that its purrfectly normal and even encouraged we might add for the pibbles to taste the human foodables before consumption in case of poisoning. in fact...some might call this act courageous and heroic even.....follow me along.....me and the bella spot most nommylicious looking bread on the counter......we all in the furry world know how evil, sneakish and corrupt the tree rats are and they are known to mess wiff the humans......so we must protect our mommish at all times.....you nevers know they might have put something on her breadas mommish goes to ck on the wee human two legger Bella extends and swipes at the bread and down it comes......i take a couple of sniffs and so far nothing pupticious is documented but this bread must pass the test of all test......brinksey winksey will now risk his life to protect his pack......

so im sure you guys member baron... he is one of my pups that i had that went to the gulfcoast rescue group and then was adopted.
for some reason baron ended up at the brazoria county humane society which is where ruthie from k9 katastrophe. mommish and the shelby were beyond the worries trying to find out how we can help our darling boy but not to worries . mona and weenie posted about hims on their bloggy for rescue me week. mayzie's wonderful adopt me week and guess what? baron has been adopted. he is now in the happy tails section of the shelters website. the shelby is over the moons wiff the wiggles and the overwhelming happiness. i cants stop the wiggle butt dance.
lookit this puppy dog face and you just know that he was not going to be homeless furever? i cannot take you enough mayzie for sponsoring this most wonderful event ever there was.... thanks to you and a wonderful angel my dear baron boy will have a furever family for the holidays. my heart is filled wiff the fuzzies and i will finally sleep wiff the peacefulness knowing all my puppers are safe and in loving homes.....

howdy there everyfurry i must say that i most chubbyness pibble of the pittie pack brings out the singing in my mommish. so mommish keeps singing these songs to me which are kinds of funnish she says that one of them is from beyonce and it goes like this

she says that over the summer since it was over two million degrees i furry much stayed inside as much as i could and did not exercise like my other pibble brothers did but as guero the model is the health nut i brinksy winksy puddin and pie am most definately NOT fond of the sweatyness..... so i laid on the couch most everyday and snuggles with mommish and ate most nommies all the day. ....... here's another song i keeps hearing from the mommish

we are excited to pawticipate in mayzies rescue me week and we hope we can help a furry get a furever home. now you guys just wait and see how adorabull this pibble below is you will not be able to resist his cuteness and we hope with all our hearts that he finds his heart family furry furry soon.....thank you so much mayzie for hosting this wonderful event......

this is how his current foster momma describes him.........

**L♥vey rescued 10-12-11 ..this poor baby has been through so much ..I couldn't tell you how I felt when I first saw him and couldn't take him. Well now he's at vet nd receiving treatment . His wounds are what you call DEFENSE wounds ..meaning whoever , whatever hurt him ..he tried his hardest to defend himself..he is NOT a fighter ..more so a LOVING, KIND , SWEET BOY ever ..reason why I named him LOVEY ..he is so loving and forgiving no matter what happened to him :(:( Lovey will have to stay at the vet for awhile . He had a long gash on his testicles ..don't even want to know ?? which caused a severe infection that took over his whole body. He also has a large mass over what we thought was a gun shot wound that will require surgery (later) . His body is full of wounds ..later today the vet called to tell me that they noticed swelling above his leg ..he can't walk :(:( they will keep a close eye on it ..I will update further as I'm able to ..Pray for Lovey ..****

Lovey is neutered, hw- , UTD on shots and micro-chipped. He will be ready for adoption in about a week or so. Vet has stated he did fine around other dogs ..I haven't introduced him to mine due to them being sick ..but plan on it. Not sure about cats as he hasn't been cat tested ..vet did say he ignored as he walked by. Lovey aka (baby Huey ) lol is so sweet !!!!! and very loving ..

howdy everyfurry the wee lucky here with a most very exciteable bloggy post about our furry first transport. and to makes thing more exciteables i must tell yous that she was my long lost twin..... is true ... you know how they say that everyone has a twin our theres in the world but i did'nt beweeive it until i laid my eyes upon the fabolous sofia....mommish is not able to rescue any more woggies off the street as we has a full house full of five pibbles and two wee's not to mention the wittle two legger so she has been racking her smarticles and came up on a transport situation here near our area... she seen the picture of this gorgeous gal and id a triple take as she looked identical to me... yes she is just as bewootiful as me...i went to the store wiff the mommish and helps to pick out some little fings for sofia. she was coming all the way from fort worth and thank goodness that we were able to help. their was nobody that could help with this leg and she woulda been on the bad list 7am that morning. thank dog we were able to contact the transport person and let them know that we would be happish to help.we drove the angel to richmond tx and she will stay in the luxury pet resort until her furever mommish picks her up from sealy tx. and twust us this luxury pet resort was FULL of the luxuries it looked like a mansion made ofur for furrys in a furry posh neighborhood we has never been.
we bought her her furry own blankie so she can take wiff her and keeps her the warm fuzziness

hes taller than the average tree rat the records suggest he is about 1 foot in height, a menace to society and you definately dont want to run into him at night...... he is a terrible experiment gone wrong ...... an accident that escaped the NASA headquarters here in houston texas and seems to come out of hiding when his blood thirst gets the best of him........

though the name of the beast has changed throughout the years and from county to county they all share the same characteristics...... unquenchable thirst for doggie flea blood and adult science diet (chicken and rice) kibble.........those evil tree rats have been trafficking their fleas to our yard in hopes that he is lured to fight their battle but we awaits this menace with eager but cautious feelings...... we has only heard of him in whispers in the night from our elders . . . . . . . .

howdy furryends

the shelby here wiff a most impawtant bloggy post that comes from my heart and ish very most specialest and dearest to me.
do you see the sadness in my eyes above. this was taken a little over a year ago when i was lost and hopeless. i had just given up on myself . the world was an ugly place full of fear and pain.....
lookit me now . . . . . . . just a couple of months later. . . . . . .
above was the very first vet visit..... you see my angels picked me up and little did i know that they had a whole community of angels i had never heard of...... they were called doggie bloggers. it was doggies just like me who had humans who were their secretaries and would tell the whole world about their adventures and how loved they were. apparantly these human and woggie angels heard about the shelbys plight and opened their hearts to me. i has said it before and will continue to say it until my last breath. if it was'nt for my bloggy angels i would NOT BE ALIVE TODAY!!! yes dearest furryends of mine.
this picture above is me actually smiling..... i had never known how to smile before. i had lost and reason to smile until a miracle happened and everyone helped me ... everyone saved me......
some of those very special angels were the slimmer pugs. they raised tons of the green cash for my vet bill and my medies . tons of time was spent by them organizing fun raisers just for little ol shelby. i have seen numerous upon numerous fundraisers that they have organized for special miracles across the blogosphere. now it seems that it is gracie lynn who is in dire need of some love and help. after all that they have done for our furry friends wont you please help me bring the blogosphere together one more time to help some dearest friends who are always willing to help others in need. if its just one dollar . beleive you me i KNOW that one dollar makes a HUGE diffrence. just click on the linky and it will take you to their bloggy. maybe you can also do a shout out on your bloggy about my bloggy and help me spread the word. anyfing would help. i just KNOW if we put our paws to it ANYTHING can be accomplished. so i leaves you wiff my special shelby sugars and send you tons of furry hugs

its been quite the time since we has posted a bloggy but our mommish made sure to make some time today as she had promised us to start making more time to bloggy for us. we cames to an agreement that we would stop our tooting assault on her in the mornings if she would help us bloggy so here we ares.... tee hee hee since we have to now reroute our toots elsewhere here aboves is me and coco chanel (queen of all the furry universe) hatching a evil plan against our most hated rivals.... the north houston treerat gang .........they are notorious for squeakytoy theft, lawnmower jacking, driveby poopings, kibble selling in the black market and flea trafficking among other things.....

since the treerats LOVE football season and are trying desperately to try to takes over our backyard for their ruthless football games we mastermided a plan to sabotage their upcoming game...... we has made a tiny hole in this football and loaded it wiff out most potent toots imaginable. we has held our toots in all the day long and we has unloaded them in this football

you see we pawticipated in the most pawsome gift exchange hosted by the bewootiful sprinkles and i wents to the woggie woofie store and picked out some gifts my cutey patooty furryend might like and he did the same for me and then we exchanged the gifts !!!!!

this was me one year ago
i was scared and had given up on life. as i lay there in the scalding parking lot in over 100 degree weather i heard a gentle voice speaking to me with something i came to learn was love. i looked up at her and saw gentleness that i had never experienced. she softly picked me up and took me to her home where i was fed and loved on. although my body still bears scars from my past life i have come to realize that their is angels in the world. that their is kindness and happiness. that i deserve to be healthy and spoiled. i love humans more than anything else especially mine. i have a warm place to cuddle and all the toys my heart can desire. i never lack food or water. all this thanks to my mommish and miss sarah, my angels. all thanks to all of you guys around the world who took a little of your time, money and love for this lost pibble in houston. i also have 5 great pibble babies who are all in great homes never to experience any of the harsh side of the world that i grew up in. all thanks to you guys. my heart is now filled with inmense love for everybody i meet. instead of fear i greet people with kisses. instead of cowering, i jump for joy. if you look at the two very diffrent pictures of me you can see what a little love can do for one woofie who could have easily been overlooked. please everybody . please never change . that one small gesture you made for me . that one small prayer you said for me ... kept me alive.

howdy there everyfurry, brinksy winksy pudding pie here to shows you some of our garden.boy it has been furry much the heat hot here most everyday is about 97 or 98 degrees and furry humid. BUTT i am in charge of our gawden this year so i's to show you around a bit. i shall do it little by little if that is okay wiff ya'll. mr hippy hippo is my gardening companion and we try to do this on the furry early mornings when mr heat hot is not too bright yet.

this is our big boy jr.... he is growing quite the fastness . he is two months and about 13 pounds already. mommish is sad she must return to woik in two weeks. she is enjoying every one minute she can wiff all of us. our daddish mommish will take cares of our little pup when our mommish is at woik but we will still miss him terribly.
especially princess bella . she has created a furry special bond wiff the wittle human pup and she'll post about it soon. he is now his furry nanny and loves him dearly.

any woo i am here for the gardening pawt. we shall start wiff some flowers around our tree. these below are planted all around and they are my favorite.

howdy there bloggy pawtners, we is here to bark abouts a furry special woggie by the name of jack. this labradude is one of our longtime furryends and we knew him befores he becames a nationwide celebrity. this labraduder is so hanshums that he got his face on the cover of a book and even got a books written all abouts him. yes, this labrawoggie is quite the charmer. the tall guy which is his pawrent sent us this great book of adventures and we read it all in one day!!! thats how exciting it was . full of baseballs and poop !!!! our favorite subject. it also provides vewy helpful tips on puppy parks and SANTA HATS!!!!! as you can see mommish read the book to JR right away for his bedtime and he paid furry much close attention to the part about the poops. he especially liked that part. **sigh** he fits right into our pack does'nt he???

the shelby noticed the book on the bed wiff the handshum labradude and asked if the shelby princess can get the book read to her for her bedtimes too . of course the princess always gets what she wants and boy did she love it. we told her it was extra special because the tall guy pawed it forward to us because of her and her increadible rescue this past year.

hurry mom turn the page this is so furry much informative. i wanna go to the puppy park too . maybe even learn the intricate art of destuffing the way jack does. . . . .

thank you furry much jack and the tall guy. the whole pack LOVED the book and it will be read to our two legger many times ofur. we shall cherish your pawtograph and pawmise not to sell it on ebay for a baseball BOL !!

howdy there ya'll Wee Lucky hewe live from the woggie pibble pack house wiff pupdate. . . all has been a bit chaotic here lately what wiff the new baby two legger. we has all been furry helpish for the mommish so she does'nt go bananas wiff all of ush. i has stopped tinklin in the carpet that is right inside the door. i use to wait to tinkle all the times until mommish was about to let us in the yawd and then i would tinkle in the carpet right before stepping out in the yawd. it was quite the funnies but i figured i would do my part in making fings easier for hers for now. im furry sure my cooperation has been appreciated as she does'nt have to wash it most everyday. the shelby did the greatness at the dog-tor and her whowhoectomy went purrfect. her AKG came back normal and she was a fuwy good girl while at the vet office. she ish a bit sore and cannot play wiff ush so i sent some wee slobbers to her via our grammish to make her feel the betterments.

she sends her fanks for all the healin vibes

she is currently keeping busy playin wiff her favorite pink toys. princess's always have to have pink toys awound to make them feel better. she is happish that this is going to be her last big ouchieation and his going to focus on enjoying her new life wiff us and she cherishes most every day. she also wants to send shelby sugars to all of you for all you help and support throughtout all these months. wiffout your prayers and support none of this woulda been possible for her. i tolds her that we are all lucky that angels walk this earth and they has found us on many occasions.

BABY JOSHUA
he awiwed at 10:22 pm on may 18th weighing in at 8 lbs and 8 oz measuring about 21 inches long and his wittle head was 14 and 5/8's WOWIE!!!!! he was naturally delivered no c section was done which everyone was surprised about. we are furry most proudest of our mommish. baby joshua is currently in a neonatal intensive care unit section.he was having some breathing problems so we are still anxiously waiting his arrival here at home. mommish was able to come home today and she said that hopefully if all goes well tomorrow they will let our human brofur out. we just could'nt wait any longer to show you guys some pictures of our wittle angel. we hopes you enjoy them,. we cant wait to sniff him we hear babies smell the bestest ever to be!!!!

hello and warm toots to you all ,
the pittie pack here to give ouw wonderful furryends some pupdates. we are twuly full of the sorryness for being away so long butt we have had some difficulties wiff takin the cares of ouw mommish. you see on top of the dye=a=beat=ees she has also had to go to the vet for a kidney infection and most recently kidney stones. the human pup seems to be growing at a fuwy fast rate and they have decided to induce her next week. she is 36 weeks butt the human pup is already 9.6 pounds and his wittle head measures about 10.3 so the human vets dont want him to get any bigger . they will be inducing her next week about thursday or friday so we are all going to just fink positive thoughts and cross ouw paws for both ouw mommish and the human pup. today is the fiwst day out of the hospital and will try to catch up on some of your bloggys as this will keep ouw mommish entertained and her mind busy. we have misshed all of you guys tewibly but hope to go back to normal posting fuwy much soon. until then we send evewy one of you the biggest , most slobbery and sugary pibble kisses we have saves for ya'll,.

please to fowgive most chubbyness pibbles in our woggie pibble house as we has not posted in a bit. you shee ouw mommish is quite the sickiness. she is in what she calls the last trimester and she ish not feeling good. dr finks she might have what they call a die-a-bee-dees and it makes her feel all yucky mucky. ash you can shee we lays by her feet most all the time to give her all our special feel better toots and we just know they are helping her. the shelby is doing gweat you guys.no complications whatsoevers so we are furry happish to announce that. please to send ush some of ur healing vibes for our mommish and the wee spirit. spirit has been barfing her food and last lost tons of weight despite being fed up to 3 times a day like the vet suggested. she ish going to the woggie vet soon again to see what else could possibly be making her ill. in the meantime we shall all just surround them wiff the loves and keep our paws crossed for boff mommish and spirit

dr briles was soppose to keep her overnight one more day butt he shayed that miss shelby was so agitated and fuwy sad that he decided it would be better for her to be wiff her family to not get her too exciteables. what wiff the heartworm meddies she has to weemain calm and she WAS NOT at the vet. so . . . . wee went to pic her up wiff the speedy quickness and she ish now home tooty snoring and mommish ish keeping an eye on her all night. grammy ish on vacation so she will be shelby's nurse during the day for the next week. she lives wiff ush so shelby can just snuggle wiff the grammy all day tomowow. thank you so vewy vewy much for all the healing vibes and prayers we just KNOW miss shelby will be on the mend that much quicker wiff the power of the paw

the pittie pack here to ask all of our bloggy furryends to keep miss shelby in their prayers.she is going to be getting her last shot for her heartworm tweatment today. mommish dropped her off yesterday mowning at dr briles office and the shelby DID NOT want to leave mommish which made it even hawder to leave her. miss shelby was not allowed to come home that night because this mowning she gets her last shot. dr briles nurse said the shelby was doing ok but was fuwy agitated to be away from ush and in the kennel by her lonesome. mommish had taken her blankie and pink stuffy but i guess its not helping. they want to keep her ANOTHER night for monitoring but mommish will call later today in hopes they let her come home to ush and wee's to takes the care of her like last month . it ish difficult for all of ush to be away from her as much as we know its difficult for her to understand why she had to be there away from the woggie pibble house. please to keep her in your prayers and send conforting vibes so she can remain calm for her last shot. we will keep everyfurry updated on the situation.

good morning all

we have some good news . last night dr briles let the shelby comes home to the woggie pibble house so she wont be so stressed in the vet kennel. we were overjoyed because we were worried about how she would handle being away from her woggie pibble house for the first time.she was understandably sore and what not but we kept an eye on her all night and she slepted peacefully throughout.she was snoring quite loudly but we did'nt care as long as she was sleeping comfortably. she went back to the vet this mowning and he said her heart sounds just fine and for her to just take it easy the next week or so. no jumping around no excitement . she ish pretty mellow anyways so thats no problem. we would like to thank ALL OF YOU FURRYENDS for all your prayers and good wishes . we just KNOW that you guys helped her make it through this wiff all your good vibes. she is a strong girl and we are all so furry proud of her . this thanksgiving we haves a lot to be thankful for starting wiff having you guys as ouw furryends

shelby is at the vet office as i write this for her first heartworm treatment and shot. she will HAVE to stay overnight which is going to be her first time away from the woggie pibble house since she was rescued. we know it will be quite stressful for her and pray furry hawd that she can take the tweatment. please join us in prayer for her today as she goes through this procedure. power of the paw has woiked miracles before and your good vibes are needed.

you see mommish admired furry much so all the puggy figurines that they have and next fing you know this here comes in the snail mail. i cks it out and sniffs it but it did not wiggle. i has never seen a pibble like this befores in brinksy winksy oinky town. . . . . you see . . . sometimes its furry hawd to find pibble stuff out there as so my puddin rolls were unfamiliars wiff this pibble.
