MAXDOG MONDAY

A 'SPECIAL PLACE'

You have a special place Dear Lord that I know you'll always keep
A special place reserved for dogs when they quietly fall asleep
With large and airy kennels and a yard for hiding bones
With maybe a little babbling creek that chatters over stones.
With wide green fields and flowers for those who never knew
about running freely under Your sky of perfect blue.
Lord,I know You keep this Special Place And so to you I Pray,
For one Special Golden angel Who quietly died today
He was full of strength & love and so very, very wise.
The puppy look he once had Had long since left his eyes.
He is dearly missed my Lord By a very good friend of mine.
He went to join his ancestors To Your land that is Devine
So, speak to Maxdog softly please And give him a warm hello.
He's a Special gift to you Dear Lord From Caryl, who loved him so.

Well now you've gone and done it! First the very beautiful poem for Max, heartdog(Mom is sure sorry she was not bloggin for 2 months while the max tour took place. We wish he could have come see us)
We have so many pups at the bridge, in heaven, that we hope they can break away from all the people they knew and loved to welcome Max too. He put up a fight, but the poor buddy got tired. Cancer is exhausting sometimes. No greater gift can be given than the one Caryl gave today. She took his pain and set !
him free. Still, sniffin alot today.
THEN, Mom biggifys the Rainbow Bridge for Horses. OMD the floodgates came. She had a horse she loved very much that has been gone a looong time. Geeeez. Gotta call the stockbroker(if I had one) and invest in Kleenex...
Hugs to all of you,
Sunny,Scooter&Jamie( with a stubbed ub dose dow)

Oh we were so sad to see Max's mom's post on his blog this morning. But we know that at the bridge he is feeling great and looking down at everyone and sending lots of love. We know how hard this has to be on his family now too - we are so glad that they had those extra 106 days with him!

Max now stands in perfection with his youthful body and shining eyes. My heart breaks for his Maxmom who is experiencing immeasurable pain. I know that Max will wait for her at the Bridge so she can bring his lead and they can walk together once more.

What a beautiful tribute to Max.
The words touch our hearts.
So true the words that Caryl gave Max back to his creator.
I think every eye in the world is crying to night,
A legacy that we were all apart of.
We will be touched forever
